Donna learned the importance of processing grief, planning, preparing  and discussing end-of-life wishes in 2014, when her father died.  Her work as a doula began as she assisted her mother in laying her father to rest and preparing her mom's end-of-life plan by discussing her end of life wishes.

March 2021, Donna received her Death Doula certification from Going with Grace (GwG).  She has an undergraduate degree of Interdisciplinary Studies (business and health promotion), from the University of New Orleans and Master of Science degree in Management (leadership focused) from Catholic University, Washington, DC.  

Donna is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA),  and the National Funeral Home Alliance.
